Ohh, that cover! It was what pulled me to this book. I saw it in a airport and couldn't pick it up, so I was ecstatic to see it in Waterstones and I'm so glad I did. Any Sherlock fans also squeal with Liane's surname?!

This book just draws you in, and before you know it you've read the whole book! The first chapter, even the first line, leaves you to one question. Why?
I managed to glide through this book in one sitting and the small manageable chapter sizes helps, leaving with small cliff hangers that force you to read on.
With a duel narrative, you get the different perspectives of a situation, and for me this is what made this book - finding out how each person is related and how their paths cross.

Overall, this book was gripping and was a delightful ride as some parts were rather witty and had me snorting a little over the one liners. Liane really knows her stuff, so much so that straight after finishing this I had to get another of her books (What Alice Forgot, also an amazing book!)

On Goodreads I gave this a well deserved 5 stars.

Thanks for reading,

So, what do you think of this book?

I'm on Blogger as of now, same name as here.
